Founded in 1922, the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce has long been a catalyst for growth and collaboration in our community. Established in 1836 and named after Chief Justice John Marshall, Marshall County quickly grew into a strong agricultural and community-centered region. Lewisburg became the county seat and developed into a bustling hub for farming, trade, and early craftsmanship, with Tennessee Walking Horses playing a major role in the county’s identity.
Throughout the 20th century, Marshall County expanded beyond agriculture, welcoming new industries and small businesses that helped diversify and strengthen the local economy. Today, the county continues to honor its heritage while embracing growth, blending small-town tradition with modern opportunity.
